The Big Stud is a blend of 35% Cabernet Sauvignon,
24% Petit Verdot, and 19% Malbec all from Seven Hills Vineyard, and 22%
Merlot from XL Vineyard adjacent to Seven Hills. This elegant wine has
vibrant fruit notes of violet, dried cherry, and spice on the nose,
followed by notes of plum, blackberries, crushed herbs, and cassis, with
powdery tannins on the pallet that make for a full-bodied, silky, and
savory wine that entices you back for more.
